The Mozes Rosenberg & Jelle Van Tongeren Quartet play music in the tradition of the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt, who laid the foundation for the European jazz style in the 1930s, which is now often called gypsy-jazz. This music is characterized by its exhilarating and melancholic guitar and violin sounds, accompanied by double bass and rhythm guitar. And that's not all! In addition to the traditional repertoire, the quartet plays their own exciting compositions by Mozes Rosenberg and Jelle van Tongeren. In 2021, The Mozes Rosenberg & Jelle Van Tongeren Quartet released their first EP 'Fonkel Nova'.
